During my time here in Phuket I have had many experiences with the Hotel industry and on occasion I get a welcome surprise.
As you can imagine being the editor of this website, I spend a lot of time covering events and visiting our customers. From time to time I have a late appointment and it has been necessary to book into a hotel, mainly due to a few glasses of wine whilst discussing business over dinner.
On one such occasion I was parking my car in Patong and strolling up the soi toward Bangla and I came across The Yorkshire Inn. Not wanting to wander around searching for hotels I decided to take a chance and pondered in to ask about room availability. My luck was in; a room was available and completed the necessary formalities.
Within 3 minutes I was in my room and perusing the facilities within it. The room was spotlessly clean, (usually number one on my wish list) Tastefully decorated and more than ample room for my needs.

The Hotel itself is situated 50 yards from the main Bangla Road area in Patong, but retains a quiet and friendly ambiance. The standard rooms are all well equipped with fully stocked mini bar, air conditioning and en-suite facilities. The restaurant serves an excellent selection of both Thai and International food and is set close to the bar, where you can indulge in a vast variety of local and International beers, wines, fine ales and spirits.
The hotel also has Luxury Apartments available and I can only describe them as nothing short of 5 Star. Seeing is believing with these apartments and now when needing a stop over in Patong the Yorkshire Inn is the place for me. (Subject to room availability)
